DockAtlas

Terms of Service

Last updated: August 21, 2026

These terms govern your use of DockAtlas to find, book, or list marina slips. By creating an account or using DockAtlas, you agree to them. If you're signing up on behalf of a marina, you're agreeing on that marina's behalf too.

1. What DockAtlas is

DockAtlas is a marketplace that connects boaters with independently owned and operated marinas offering transient slips. We don't own, operate, or manage any marina, and we're not a party to the arrangement between a boater and a marina beyond facilitating the booking and payment.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Marina accounts are set up by DockAtlas after verifying the marina; a marina admin is responsible for keeping their listing — slips, availability, amenities, and payout details — accurate and current.

3. Bookings

When you book a slip, you're reserving it for the dates you select at the rate shown at checkout, and payment is collected at the time of booking. A booking is confirmed once payment succeeds — until then, the slip is held but not guaranteed.

4. Cancellations and refunds

5. Payments and fees

All payments are processed by Stripe. DockAtlas never sees or stores your full card details. DockAtlas retains a commission from each booking; the remainder is paid directly to the marina's connected Stripe account. Marinas must complete Stripe's onboarding before they can accept paid bookings.

6. Marina responsibilities

Marinas are responsible for honoring confirmed bookings, keeping slip availability and amenities accurate, and providing the slip and access described in their listing. DockAtlas may remove a listing that's materially inaccurate or that repeatedly fails to honor bookings.

7. Boater responsibilities

You're responsible for providing accurate boat information when booking, arriving and departing within your reserved dates, and following the marina's posted rules while on their premises. Damage, disputes, or incidents at a marina are between you and that marina.

8. Prohibited conduct

Don't misrepresent yourself or your boat, attempt to circumvent DockAtlas's payment flow for a booking made through the platform, or use the platform for anything unlawful.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

DockAtlas facilitates bookings but doesn't inspect marina premises or guarantee the accuracy of a listing beyond what a marina self-reports. To the extent permitted by law, DockAtlas isn't liable for a marina's conduct, the condition of its facilities, or a boater's conduct on marina premises. DockAtlas's liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as DockAtlas changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do; continuing to use DockAtlas after a change means you accept the update.
